Hi, my name is Dyon! I offer 1-1 online/remote counselling.
Philosophy
At Dyon Ho Counselling & Psychotherapy, I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth and change. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their inner selves and overcome personal challenges.
I am UK based, and currently offering online and remote counselling. Sessions are recommended on a weekly basis, but there is flexibility for fortnightly sessions if this is preferred.
Qualifications
I have an MA in Integrative Counselling, BSc (Hons) in Counselling & Mental Health and I am registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Approach
My approach is predominately person-centred and collaborative. I work with clients to identify their goals and develop a personalised treatment plan that incorporates a variety of techniques, including but not limited to mindfulness, cognitive-behavioural therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
As a counsellor I am passionate about working in the area of loss, grief and bereavement.
Understanding
As a counsellor, my goal is to support you in navigating life's challenges, deepening your self-understanding, and fostering self-acceptance. I practice from a person-centred approach, meaning I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where you feel accepted as you work through the issues you wish to address in therapy.
Client Empowerment
I am dedicated to empowering clients to discover what works best for them, believing that you already hold the answers within yourself. My role is to create a safe and supportive space where we can explore your experiences together. My approach is gentle, calm, and empathetic, and I will never push you to explore areas that you are uncomfortable with or not ready to address.

My Location
I offer online and remote counselling sessions to clients in Barnsley, Wakefield, Doncaster, and across the UK. All sessions are conducted remotely via WhatsApp audio call, WhatsApp video call, Psychology Today, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

You can connect with me conveniently from your own space, and both platforms offer a personalised experience within a professional virtual setting.
Fees & Availability
FREE Introductory Call (15-minute),
Initial Assessment Sessions (30-minute) cost £20,
Counselling Sessions (1 hour) cost £50 per session.
Please be advised that a minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for any session cancellations. If notice is not provided within this timeframe, the full session fee will still apply for missed appointments. Payment is accepted via bank transfer.
